«الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ، وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللهُ عَنْهُ»
Roman Urdu Translation: Rasool Allah ﷺ ne farmaya: "Haqeeqi musalman wo hai jiski zaban aur hath (ki takleef) se doosre musalman mehfooz rahein, aur haqeeqi muhajir wo hai jo un kaamon ko chhod de jin se Allah Ta'ala ne mana farmaya hai."
اردو ترجمہ: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "حقیقی مسلمان وہ ہے جس کی زبان اور ہاتھ (کی تکلیف) سے دوسرے مسلمان محفوظ رہیں، اور حقیقی مہاجر وہ ہے جو ان کاموں کو چھوڑ دے جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ نے منع فرمایا ہے۔"
हिंदी अनुवाद: रसूलुल्लाह ﷺ ने फ़रमाया: "हक़ीक़ी मुसलमान वह है जिसकी ज़बान और हाथ (की तकलीफ़) से दूसरे मुसलमान महफ़ूज़ रहें, और हक़ीक़ी मुहाजिर वह है जो उन कामों को छोड़ दे जिनसे अल्लाह तआला ने मना फरमाया है।" (सहीह बुख़ारी: 10, सहीह मुस्लिम: 40)
English Translation: The Prophet ﷺ said: "A (true) Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe; and a (true) Emigrant (Muhajir) is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden." (Sahih al-Bukhari 10 & Sahih Muslim 40)
